Hey guys! And thanks for stopping by the blog. If you don’t know who I am, my name is Amy & I am the blogger behind I Heart LOA. Where we talk about all things Law of Attraction, Manifesting & Personal Development. And from time to time, I do post tutorials on how I do things behind the scenes on my blog. And that is what today’s post is all about.
Today’s Post Is How To Create A Calendar Template Using Excel
I am so glad that I finally figured out how to make my calendars for my binders/planners using Excel. I have been trying to figure this out for a while now. lol. I am by no means an expert on how to do this. But I did figure it out using a website that I found that explained it easy enough for me to understand. I will be linking that site in this post so that you can visit it and/or bookmark it for your own use too down below.
Instead of me sitting here typing out exactly how I did it. I am just going to post a video tutorial of exactly how I did it down below. I hope you enjoy it and I hope I explained it good enough for you to understand. I can’t wait to make all 12 months.
Another thing that you can do once you make your calendar template is to take it over to Canva or PicMonkey and use their features to make it as pretty as you want to. That is what I am doing with mine. Ok, guys here is the video. If you have any questions or comments just leave them down below in the comment section. And I will try to answer them for you.
Tutorial: How To Create A Calendar Template Using Excel
This is me explaining how I create my calendar templates using Excel. I learned how to do this from another blogger. And he has a really great site. I linked his info down below this video.Update: I just created a checklist for you to go by as you watch this video. I really think it will help. It is 5 pages. But you can print it out or save it on your computer so it will make it easier for you to understand.
Make Sure You Download Your Checklists & Print Out.
Remember to download your checklist as this will definitely make it easier for you. I hope you get some use out of them. You can find it below.
After you watch the video, if you would like to bookmark the site that helped me, you can find it at Make Use Of. It is an awesome site and I am so grateful that I found it. Because now I can make my planners/binders even that more awesome looking!
Here is the link to make your pdf into a png file (PDF 2 PNG) so that you can edit it with Canva or PicMonkey. You can add colorful designs, change the fonts for the months & days, etc to make your calendar pop by using a photo editor. There are so many things that you can do to make your calendar look amazing! And the way you want it to look. 🤩 Have fun with it!
*Here’s A Pic Of One That I Made After Editing It On Canva
And another one
I am working on a Binder/Planner package.
It’s called (for now) Home/Biz Management Binder (Self-Care Edition) and it has sections in the Binder. It’s going to be a very pretty & detailed binder that will help you get your home life & business (if you have one) in order. And help you stay on top of your self-care. Also, there are motivational quotes pictures that you can either leave in your binder or print out & place in a frame. They are so cute if I do say so myself. The sections that I have are:
The self-care section has pages for you to check off:
- Morning Self-Care Routine (gratitudes, journaling, prayer, etc)
- Morning affirmations
- Evening Self-Care Routine
- Gratitudes For The Day
The Home Section will have pages:
- monthly calendar pages
- weekly pages
- daily pages
- to do lists (these are broken down into have to do, need to do, want to do)
- cleaning schedule
- personal goals
The Biz Section will have pages:
- your “why” with prompts
- Top 3 goals & why are these your goals
- etc (still a work in progress as I am trying to make this the best planner ever to help you in all areas of your life)
Here’s a Sneak Peek Into What It Looks Like So Far.
And I did this using Canva and am doing the monthly calendars using Excel.
To see more sneak peek’s into the binder package, you can find them on my facebook page at I Heart LOA
I get all of my graphics from Creative Fabrica. They have so many awesome graphics, fonts, you name it over there on their site. It’s a great place to get some beautiful graphics for your next project. And you do get a commercial license so that when you make your next project you can use the graphics however you like. You just can’t sell the files. To grab some cool freebies or really good discounts, go check them out Creative Fabrica.
You Get The Idea 😉
I am brainstorming right now to make this the best planner/binder that will be useful to you. Especially with your self-care because I think that is the most important part. When you take care of yourself on the inside and feed your spirit, it allows you to get in touch with your intuition & your higher self. And when you are showing up as your higher self in all aspects of your life, you can’t help but flourish!
So thank you for reading this post.
I hope it was helpful to you. And I can’t wait to continue to create things that are of use to you and add value to your life.
