2020 GO AWAY!
Woah what a year this has been. I don’t know about you but I feel like I have been thru the ringer and then some. My emotional and mental health have been cray cray.
Let’s reflect back on the year at everything that has been going on.
- The big C virus
- Violence escalating
- Gov’t Mandates
- Election craziness
- School being out
- ETC ETC ETC
It feels like everything that could be thrown at us has been thrown at us.
I don’t know about you but being on social media sure hasn’t helped me at all.
I have had to take some serious downtime from making videos & blogging because my own mental health was at a place where I couldn’t do anything.
I knew that I couldn’t help anyone else until I helped myself. Slowly I started making myself go back to the basics like with gratitude to pull myself out of that dark place that I was in.
Have You Been Feeling Like That Too?
Have you slipped back into flight or fight/survival mode? I know I did.
And I had worked so hard to bring myself out of that victim mentality. But it is easy to revert back to when it is a survival mechanism that is inside of all of us.
I felt like the mainstream media was really throwing as much fear porn at us every single day that they could. (Control mechanism?)
I still feel that way.
I remember not too long ago that I made a decision to stop watching the news just because of all the negativity. Then I found myself getting sucked back in because of all the crazy stuff going on in the world.
I stopped saying what I was grateful for every day. I broke my habit that I had worked so hard to build all because of FEAR. 3 Easy Ways To Make Gratitude An Awesome Habit
Fear of the unknown.
We can’t control what is going on right now outside of us. But we can control our thoughts and reactions.
So I cut off the social media for a while. I stopped watching the news. Although I have found some citizen journalists that I follow that give just the facts not their opinion on what is going on.
How Can You Get Back Into That Feeling of Gratitude?
Before you do anything in the morning just say
Make yourself say thank you. Why?
Because by saying thank you, you are already putting into motion a feeling of gratitude.
And remember that being grateful always brings you more things to be grateful for. And it is one of the easiest ways to get your vibrations up.
Getting your vibrational energy up not only helps you but it sends out positive vibes into the Universe. We can all do this together and get off this 3D plane.
How To Get Started Being Grateful Again With Everything Going On?
Say Thank You as soon as you remember.
Make yourself write down or say out loud what you already have that you are grateful for. This can be even the basic of things. Like:
Just by going back to the basics it really makes you realize that there is always something to be grateful for even when you don’t feel like there is.
If You Want To Use Gratitude To Manifest:
After you have said what you are grateful for you will notice a feeling inside of you. Do you feel your spirit already being uplifted?
Use that energy to manifest what you want into your life.
This is a great way to manifest. And it is easier than trying to make yourself happy when you’re not feeling it.
So, after you have said or written down the basics that you are grateful for and you are feeling the energy that it is giving you:

This is where you can use this little trick.
Speak out into existence what you want but don’t have yet.
But you are going to say it like you already have it. And you are thanking God for it.
Say it in the past tense.
Put some attitude behind it.
Keep saying it over and over. Convince yourself.
Always use that good energy to make your life even better.
And remind yourself every day that
I know that I am going to get back to living a thriving life and get out of this survival mode.
We are meant to be abundant and thrive. Not live in fear.
